Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Ok guys I need help. I have a 2006 hummer h2 that i had to replace the heater core. Got that fixed and the dash put back together no issues. However now the dash lights and the radio will not turn off when the door opens. The dome lights work fine but there is a battery symbol on the instrument panel and all dash lights remain on until the battery dies. Someone has installed a aftermarket remote start that i want to remove (****ty job at install) and we don't have the remote start fob. There are 5 wires that have been cut and spliced that come from the door. Red, black, green, blue, and yellow. Does anyone know where to hook those back to and will that fix the auxiliary power issue? Also, if I pull the wiper fuse everything goes back to normal. Can some of you help me out?
A lot of items controlled at the drivers door modules. Attaching pics of the interior lighting to help track lighting issue, and one for drivers door mirror and other items in the door module. Without seeing the other cut wire sections it's hard to tell about any PO's efforts. Also as already stated, if wiper motor fuse resolves issues, it's quite likely either the wiper motor control board or wiring from the control stick is bad. Esp possible when dash was all apart.
