Dash lights turns off when starting vehicle

In my 03 H2 the dash guage cluster lights come on but then turn off when I start the vehicle. All other lights work and speedometer works. Only other thing that has occurred is keyfob will not unlock driver door.

looks like it can be a bad ignition switch or wiring to the ignition. does it have an aftermarket alarm? maybe the wiring is loose.

No alarm that I'm aware of but I did purchase it used. It's odd thst the lights come on but then turn off when started. Tells me they physically can light up.
