Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Driving H2 into remote places ( spare parts lost )

OverlandH2, now that was an excellent, articulate response to meaningless rambling comments

100% fully concur on the roof rack.

.... There's always going to be someone complaining the Hummer H2 looks bad because the front axle so far forward, and the back axle so far backward... Obviously because they don't understand it's about being functional on steep approaches.

Sort of like the B-2 bomber. Who cares if it doesn't "look like" a stereotypical aircraft. It's functionality takes precedence.

if the material used to create the arch is not at least 1/4 inch thick steel it will bow under the weight,
on those vehicles the arch can’t have a middle support,
for that reason any heavy duty roof rack made for those vehicles is gonna be heavy, this is not by choice this is mandatory.

the reason it looks like children bed frame is because different items put on the roof requires different point of attachment and that design provides the best possible option
Bro they put those kiddy beds on everything its an overland rice thing like decorative traction boards and roof shovels lol

People with farm jacks on their kiddy bed roof rack and stock plastic bumpers and runningboards lol

Im basically saying you dont need a roof rack because you shouldnt be adding anything to the roof lol

Jeb Clampet/Mr Bean *** wobbling up the road, let alone offroad lol

You all are clearly taking this personal so Ill just leave you be

IDGAF if you go flipping down the mountain with a bedroom set strapped to your roof lol

Lol what?

Im a fan of the increased approach and descent angles

Talking about the SUT in another thread I was more thinking they shoulda nixed some of the back doors, made it extended cab, and gave it a foot longer bed, so you could run a gooseneck, because WHAT OTHER PURPOSE would you give up a full row of seats for and put your cargo in the rain?

You cant even stand a modern fridge up back there lol

Its basically just a trunk lol

Can you guys point me to the weak points of the h2 so I can either take care of it now or have that parts with me when traveling in the middle of nowhere.
