Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Creating a Google Docs for steering wheel parameters. Much work still ahead

FYI this ebay seller seems to have dealt with the legal issues, perhaps this is the way...
I have the odometer PID from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OBD-II_PIDs. I'll be testing unit on my H2 by the end of the week to make sure I'm getting the ODO readings

similar ones have popped up on the forum a few times. but usually not too much detail about them or what actually can interface with the H2. like steering controls and such or Bose interfacing.

A guy on Facebook sent me the link. He's had it in his H2 going on 3 years. I'll ask him about steering controls and audio interfacing.

Typically on Android based car stereos (which that huge screen one is) they interface like any other car stereo in a modern vehicle. In other words they will not directly work well - you still want to get a stereo interface and steering wheel interface if you want it to integrate with the factory amplifier, retain vehicle chimes, and have working steering wheel controls. They do have a steering wheel controls input as far as I know but you still need a vehicle specific interface to connect between. You could bypass the factory amp but that is complicated and a lot of work as all of the speaker wires terminate at the amp under the center console.

Yes, he stated he never connected the steering controls to it because he didn't understand how to set it up. I'm trying to address this issue myself with a goal of plug and play for this digital display. Creating an app to make them changes looks more compelling at the moment
