The master/brake booster used in the 08/09 is a variation of the one in the Toyota FJ cruiser and some of the 4 Runners. I wonder if a rebuild kit might exist for those that some parts might be used to rebuild the ones in the H2?
I do wish GM would have kept the hydroboost system that was used in the 07 and older, it was better, stout and easy to fix and replace. Plus it easy to find and about 1/4 the cost. Unfortunately with the way the 08/09 is configured with and advanced ABS system this is just not possible.
