Blend Door issues? Here are your answers!
Thanks Bunches MixManSC!
Yeah, I was backing out of the driveway ready to hit the road to Yellowstone when this happened. Blood Pressure had to have skyrocketed, but... AS I POSTED on another response you gave, which I greatly appreciate. I had no idea you guys would respond so quickly.
I posted the following, which the odds are good you have read prior.
I went to AUTOZONE and bought a NEW Dorman 599-211 Climate Control Module... it was broken right out of the box, would not calibrate, back lighted buttons were not lit.
After yanking it back out, I thought for a second and realized, the OEM AC DELCO I removed showed the same issues as the known broken NEW replacement, the OEM would not calibrate, and the back lighted buttons began to fail, so...
I decided the odds were good the OEM Climate Control Module was very likely dead... causing my problem.
SO, I returned the DEAD NEW Climate Control Module to AUTOZONE and they gave me another NEW Dorman 599-211 unit, which I went home and installed.
Here is a link to the video of my installing the SECOND NEW replacement Climate Control Module.
IT WORKED!!!! It configured as it should, which neither of the previous two did and all of the buttons are lit. AND THE AIR IS NOW COLD!
Thanks again for your advice and help!
I sincerely appreciate it!

Thanks for the feedback 50Beowulf
I just purchased this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/164828594592 and it's also here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/174720675651 and had to return it.
It started to make a popping noise that sounded like the actuator was binding the blend door. The last thing I wanted was for an actuator to break a blend door so I pulled it ASAP. Note, this one along with probably a lot of other Chinese actuators don't have hard/mechanical stops to prevent the actuator from putting too much pressure on the blend doors. Keep this in mind when you are shopping these. I ended up going back to OEM. $70 to $100 is worth it to me vs breaking a blend door and having to tear the dash completely apart to get to the HVAC housing unit for replacement.

Same here.... On a few full size GM trucks/SUV's I've replaced blend door actuators. All 3 that I put cheapo generic ones on, I had to replace again in under a year. All that I replaced with new ACDelco ones are still working fine (a couple now 5+ years later). Learned that lesson on multiple parts like knock sensors as well.....
First time on the forum. I need to replace my blend door actuator (passenger side) on my 2007 H2. I've tried researching this and have not had good luck with r/r on a 07. Anyone have any info or tips to get easy access to the actuator without having to disassemble the r/side dash area. As a last resort, I may have to have someone install it for me. I'm in the orange county portion of California if someone could refer a reasonable mechanic to install my actuator. Thanks Dennis
This is the easiest to replace. Refer to this link: https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...answers-27779/
"3 - Driver side climate (temperature) control. This is located on the PASSENGER SIDE, underneath of the glove box, just to the right of the center console. It is the only actuator below the level of the glove box (all others are up high in the dash board area). Just remove the plastic under the glove box and there it will be. Part #604-106. Autozone sells this for $144.99."
