Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Thanks for all the comments Hummerz and I do indeed take very much to heart all your sentiments memorialized here on this forum.

So all the parts I listed are all indeed "ceramic" with only the premium ones being Carbon-Fibre ceramic, none come from Rock's "Economy" or "Daily Driver" sections.

Corrosion is a serious factor here, my concern is that lesser rust-protected rotors may quickly degrade nullyfying any advantage they may initially seem to offer. So if there is another part that offers better protection then please advise.

BTW unlike the US, we don't have "shops" here that deal with Hummers and there are no GM dealerships. Of course there's always someone who'll do the job, but can they be trusted to put in the same level of research and care with regards to the parts they'll use?

So DIY to me is the safest option, not really my prefered choice, all my other vehicles are serviced by qualified dealers.

Unfortunately by the time stuff arrives here it incurs Shipping Charges x Import Duty (7%) x VAT (20%) and its all "multiplied" it effectively doubles the dollar value. So cost cannot be ignored, the best one can do is to maximise the safety aspect.

In any case I'm pretty confident the new brakes will out perform those originally supplied from GM.

I'm not familiar with the Geomet coating so cannot comment on its durability, mine have the Zinc coating and have held up very nicely since the install.

I would think that the Evolution series with the coating would be fine if little to no towing is the case, even if you do tow I still think the Evolution is an upgrade to the OEM.

Very much appreciate your advice. Everything rusts and degrades here, it's a constant battle against the elements. We pour tons of salt on our roads during winter months, so much so that we have to import it!

There's always plenty of road salt here in C-Town, O-H-I-O.us
& also many under body car wash facilities.
