New starter I used on Amazon - $51.88 shipped at this time!
Usually I am neurotic about AC Delco / OEM etc- but I will vouch for this one at a bargain price. Works perfectly and installs perfectly.
quick tip - when you remove the starter you will see a sensor on the side of block (crank sensor) make sure its not leaking oil. If it is, now is the time to replace as you have to remove the starter to change it.
To change the starter you can do easily without any jacks or lifts, you slide under the truck and can reach the bolts easily. Disconnect the battery, remove the nut for the starter power cable, nut for relay and two bolts to remove starter. - that easy. Its literally a 20 minute task.
