Default 2003 H2 fuel pump swap

I recently changed out the fuel pump assembly in my 2003 H2. After putting it all back together it ran for 5 -7 minutes no problem. After I shut it off now it won't start again. I want to be sure I reconnected the fuel lines correctly. There are two metal pipes coming out of the top of the pump assembly. which tube goes directly to the fuel filter?

Just look at the photo you took of the old assembly before you disassembled it.

don't have a 03 so no first hand knowledge,
I did a google search and found a couple diagrams but they are different so not sure which one is correct,
One showed the filter at the tank with a bypass line going back to the tank from the filter, it had 3 lines coming off the fuel pump module.

This is a thread from this site; https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...el-pump-40809/, not sure it will help but he took some good pics

If you were able to get the lines on then they should be correct. The feed line is larger than the return line. Hope you used an ACDelco pump..... 95% of the rest are garbage.

the 2003 fuel pump has an external pressure regulator located on the side of the intake on the driver side. 2004 and up have the pressure regulator built into the fuel pump body. 2003 also has an external fuel filter strapped to the top of a crossmember after the transfer case if i remember correctly. 2004 and up do not have a fuel filter.

Did you replace/check fuel pressure at FF?

Default H2 fuel issue

I recently replaced my fuel pump assembly on my 2003 H2. I reassembled everything and the truck started and ran for almost 10 minutes. I tried to start it the next day and it would not start. I removed the tank and discovered a kinked fuel line on top of the tank. This fuel line is discontinued so I had to repair the line with a dorman product. Today I removed the tank to check EVERYTHING and cannot figure out why the truck will not start. Is there a fuel shut off switch/inertia switch?
