Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
I thought I'd post up some reference pics to help anyone that needs to drop the fuel tank to replace the fuel pump. Very labor intensive procedure. Now I know why it cost so much to drop a fuel tank!
On my 08, #7 in your picture above developed a small leak. Only noticeable when the tank was filled up. Luckily I was able to reach up there and use a mirror to put some sealant around it. Haven't had a problem since. Thanks for sharing this.
No problem. I searched all over the internet for some sort of reference to fuel tanks on Hummer H2's with clear pics. I had no luck. Always willing to help.

Yea. That's a vent connector. There's actually 2 of them. #2 and #7. The #7 is more difficult to get to than #2.
Also, if dropping the tank for anything other than a dead fuel pump, run yourself nearly out of gas first. Gas is heavy. lol
Yup! The fuel pump on mine decided to quit when I had just over half a tank. I had to syphon 16 gallons of fuel out before dropping it. Still had about 3 gallons in the tank when I pulled it out. Light enough to minipulate.
