Mine ran out in April..I never got a letter

 

Mine was supposed to have run out a month and a half ago. I got a letter for a 2 year renewal for $240 or something like that but I didnt renew and it just keeps on going...

If you want it, I would call them and ask. Mine reads 12 months of XM radio - only $77. A 50% savings. And they will waive the reactivation fee. 1-800-321-7117

I heard if you call to cancel the service and say your switching to Sirius for Howard Stern they offer you a deal to keep it for like 3-4 dollars a month, but I don't know for how long. XM is in bad shape and will go to extremes to keep you from going to Sirius.

 

Mine was supposed to end on the 22 of this month, but so far it's still going too. We keep getting into the H3 thinking it will be gone, but it's been there so far. I'm sure the day will come when they'll yank it. Until then, I'm ridin' the tit..

 

They finally shut mine off..I ended up getting 5 months. They called my house phone every day for a week..but at 11:30am when nobody was home and they never left a message (I did a reverse lookup on the number). Now that its gone..I miss it!! I want it back!!! But I think I'll wait until I get that pioneer Z-1 so I can mount an external antenna because of my rack blocking the service.

 

I called XM and asked them if I needed to do anything to cancel my subscription after my 3 free months ran out. I told them that 12.00/mo was too expensive to start paying for the service. Before I could finish the sentence, the rep said that they were running a special at 77.00/1yr. I signed up and was told that my 1 year would begin automatically at the end of my trial period. I did tell them that I didn't EVER want to pay 12.00/mo. He said to call again at the end of my year and that they always have 'retention' specials.

 

I let mine run out. I only used it a few times. I would rather listen to the local channels or a cd.
