I didn't...I think the price that's offered is over the top personally, for only about 4 to 5 channels that I find worthwhile.

Mine ran out and they wanted 14.99 activation fee to turn it back on. I did not care for it anyway. I don't think XM is worth the money, for the couple channels people listen to. They did not offer any type of deal to keep it.

I wouldn't see them making any better offers. Like stangs said, more than likely they stick you for the reactivation fee, vs. make you a good deal.

After having the XM for the month & 1/2 or so wev're owned the H3, I can say I have mixed emotions about it. I like the "sat radio" option.. I'm just not sure how crazy I am about XM. More often I find myself looking for something worth listening to. There is maybe one or two channels that I can just leave it on and enjoy listening to whatever comes on (ch. 13 in my case). I have SIRIUS on my TV dish at home, and it seems to have some better channel options. I hear songs that I like more often on there, than on XM. I mostly listen to country, but like to listen to some classic rock, or 80's rock here and there. When I'm in those moods, I feel like I spend 95% of my listening time, looking for something worthwhile.

At this point I would like to keep sat radio as an option, but I can't say I want to keep XM.

I was a fan when it first came out. I had it in all of my GM vehicles, but after a while I just got bored with it. Like Dennis said the few channels that I really found myself gravitating to on a regular basis just didnt seem like it was worth the price. I could save the money and buy a good steak with all the trimmings. The bummer is if you have xm capability in all your vehicles their is virtually no insentive to keep it in all at the same time. Paying for multiple vehicles and driving one at a time just isn't worth it.I let it go. If most of your driving is metro you have all locals available over the air anyway.-Mark

Since XM was a xmas present for my daughter and wife for their cars. It's much cheeper to add the family plan. The connection fee can sometimes be waved by signing up on line. I'll just transfer the subscription from my wifes car. It's also much cheeper to pay by the year. Driving in Nevada, it doesn't take long to run out of FM stations to listen to.

I had a lot of mixed feelings about the XM also when we first got the H3, but after the last 4wd outing, I think I'm going to keep it. There are a lot of stations that have a ton of the music I like or grew up with that gives me the warm and fuzzies and you never lose it in the mountains. I haven't heard Sirus yet, it might be better, but where I live there are very few stations you can get once out of town, so it seems to make sense for me.

That's the other side of owning XM..If you are remote in your location or travel a lot..then it's a blessing

I would never get rid of my XM. I had it in my previous SUV and a radio inside my house so I had the family plan and when I got the H3, they did what they call an equipment swap so I still got the XM free for a few months and when my free subscription ran out, I went back to paying $21.18 a month for the two radios. I never listen to the regular radio anymore. Too many commercials for me, but that's just my opinion.

when i owned an acura TL they gave 3months free but then they would offer u better pricing if u let it run out.....dont know how cause i did not keep the acura long enough to find out .....2months traded in for the H3...

I was on an acura forum and if u called xm after letting it run out you would just call and tell them u have a flyer that you recvd in the mail and the code was "winback"...they would then give u a year for 70.00....great deal but just a very uncomfortable car....not made for someone who is 5'10" 215lbs.....

so i take it no one has ever gotten this flyer owning the H3....but thanks for responding......

i never listen to regular radio at all,but i might be soon...
