Wind Noise - Fixed
Had really loud noises coming from the both sides of front of the car above 60mph. I read several posts about possibly sources e.g. the sunroof deflector, sunroof itself of the plastic covers (cowls) screwed to the front door posts, mine was the latter.
Suggested fixes ranged from plastic foam filler or glue etc however I discovered that thin rubber strips running top to bottom inside the cowls had become detached for around 4" or so at their ends. My guess these were acting like reeds in a pipe organ tuned to 60mph.
This was an easy fix, just cleaned de-greased them and stuck them back down with double-sided tape and the noise was gone!
Hope this helps someone

It is the trim on either side of the windshield. They are held in by screws and the weather stripping attaches at the bottom by a small notch. Remove them, clean the old rubber and attach double sided tape, foam, caulk, whatever you want then reinstall the trim pieces. Wind noise gone.
Although I think the windshield at the top middle is now making noise on mine. I need to mess with that next.

I'm wondering if what your describing here is what i'm experiencing =
When I drive, and hit about 60mph, after about 5 minutes of driving, i'm getting a large wind-sucking sound which seems to be coming from the center of my windshield area. Sometimes it seems like its coming for the center of the hood...Sound familiar...?
