h2-wind noise in dash
On the passenger side going down the X-way... 65 -75 mph I have a very anoying noise sounds like wind making a vibration on some plastic. Only way I can explain it. I have taken that side apart and find nothing loose, or anything blocking air flow. Anyone ever encountered this?
Thx

YES!!!!!!! The vent covers outside the truck (the 2 little square things above the hood) vibrate. It took me a long time to find it because I thought that the noise was from inside the truck. I took them off and shimmed them with clear rubber. (The little pads that you would use to hold a glass coffee table from sliding.) Hope this helps you.
I had the exact same thing. Both A pillars use double back tape to hold them tightly to the windshield. Over time the tape stops sticking and the wind gets under them. Remove both A pillar windshield moldings from inside the doorways and replace the tape. The Hummer dealer here did it under the warrantee. now quiet at 70 mph. Hope that fixes yours.

We had this problem the first few weeks we had out truck. Turned out a screw in the roof lights had been stripped (probably by the previous owner) and the roof lights were vibrating into the windshield. The dealer replaced the light rack and everything is much better now. The screw was ground on the passenger side but you could hear the rattling throughout the truck.
