Fix for the A Pillar wind noise

Fix for the A Pillar wind noise
I had my windshield replaced 07 H3 a few months ago, after that when I got to about 30 MPH the wind noise from what seemed the top of the windshield was unbelievably loud and would get worse as speed increased.
I tried taping different areas and even took off the wipers and arms, no change.
I did some searches on here and saw the higher speed vibration type noise from the A pillars and the fix with double stick tape, but that was not my problem.
Here's what I found and fixed.
If you open the hood and take off the fender vent caps (the square things at the base of the A pillars) pull up on them and they un snap.
Look at the base of the A pillar cover, you can fit your fingers under there, THAT is where the air is going up and making the noise.
I had some closed cell foam I cut a 3/4" x 3/4' x @ 4" long piece and laid it under there to keep the wind out. (make it a snug fit)
PERFETCLY quiet again!!!
I think there were some foam seals in there and when the A Pillars were removed for the windshield replacement the seals were never put back in, if they were, not properly.
Fast and easy fix.
Hope this helps others with the same problem.

I used a closed cell foam it does not hold or absorb water.
I think it was out of an old life jacket.
I was concerned with that too. its not a perfect molded air tight fit so water can drain.
It just stops 95% of the air blowing up there. Very quiet now.
