Yes I agree! I wish I had more before pictures, I never seem to remember before I tear into a project. It's definitely looking mean though. I've got a stealth gray metallic H2, almost completely dechromed! I'm debating leaving a few pieces chrome for a little variation, but I'll probably end up changing them too.

I have the same color and have gotten rid of a lot of my chrome as well. I've left the emblems, handles, and mirror trim but everything else is gone. Chrome is completely fine as an accent but to put every piece of ebay chrome on these things is horrible!

I have a build thread on the other forums if you want to take a look, can't remember if I put a thread on here.

I agree completely! I wish I had taken more before pictures to show the differences. I have a stealth gray metallic H2, it had the lux package so most everything was chromed. I have since powder coated the chrome metal parts, removed the plastic chrome that was covering black parts, and scuffed and painted the rest. There is only a handful of parts are still chrome for variation, thought I may still have to paint those as well!

How about everyone's opinion, I picked up an OEM brush guard taken from an 08' H2 limited edition. I've had it powder coated satin black. I was going to paint my grille black as well but the guard sits so close to it, mirroring the shape of the grille, I think I will lose all the detail, making it look like a misshapen grille. I'm thinking of just leaving my grille chrome to set off the guard, any opinions?

Just checked it out Lojac! Very nice ride! I'm really hoping to find a Gobi stealth rack, just a little pricey for me at the moment! Do you remember how much you paid for the HID kit? I'd love to do my DTR's and headlights as well!

Also, how did the plasti dip hold up on your rims? I'm thinking of trying the same thing. Thanks man!

Thanks!

HID's are from DDM Tuning.com

The plasti dip did not hold up on the rims at all. The first time through the wash 3 of them peeled from the high pressure water. I eventually ripped all the plasti dip, prepped, and painted them Dupli Color low gloss black engine enamel and haven't had an issue yet!

Awesome! Thanks for the info! I just ordered the HID kit from DDM, cannot wait to put them in! I also grabbed some LEDs for the DRLs and the backup lights. They all were rated at 6000k color so hopefully they'll be close! Thanks again!
