Default Plastdip'd H2 Matte Black

Long time dipper of rims, trim, etc. First time doing a full vehicle and it turned out amazing!

Went from Yellow to Matte Black! I did it all in one day including prep.
I used the SUV/Truck sprayer system kit from dipyourcar.com

Getting lots compliments on it already I'm glad I finally bit the bullet and went for it.

Next on the list:
Recon smoked out light set and side markers, tint rear tail lights

I'm not a fan of plasti dip as it didn't hold up on my wheels but holy hell that rig looks awesome!!!

How much did it take for you to do that, I was thinking about matte'ing out by Vette and if it holds up and such, I might go this route.
That really looks good.

Looks great! I'd just be worried about it holding up over time. How much did it cost to do it all?

Yeah - how about washing it? Is there a concern here?
I never seen PlastiDip in use. Just in a can or applied in a picture (lol)

Also, do you have any yellow still exposed? like in the jambs or anything?
Also, how will it stand up to a good washing?
I am curious also about the cost total (the dip and the sprayers and everything you needed to do this) because if the total price for doing it with the parts is so much, it might be worth it for me to just have it painted a matte black

still jaw dropping

I know someone who dipped his H3 in black then did a matte clear coat over it. That was 2 years ago and it seems to be holding up fine.

Also don't forget the advantage of PlastiDip is that it's reversible. Just peal it off.
