Also as far as cats and sensors go....I see that furthest back two cats are NOT monitored.

The two front ones up under the two front seats have two sensors per side. One before, and one after each cat. Debating on yanking the rear two cats right now.

I would chop them off now and replace them with something like this: Clamp-On Exhaust Redirect; 3" x 12" Long Exhaust Tip Brophy Exhaust Tips CE30
These tips would tuck up nicely in the 2 recesses in the bumper. Could even trim a little shorter if needed.

I wouldn't take the chance of not only crushing those big *** tips, but possibly causing other damage if the tips get hungup on something.

Are you planning on eliminating all together or gutting the cats? Whichever it is, DO IT

Just make sure the tips do exit the vehicle in some way... either a turndown like the H2 or via tip.... that hot exhaust gas will melt the bumper plastic.....

Right, my thoughts exactly. I'm just gonna leave it for right now, I'm not sure I'll do much wheeling the rest of the season.

As far as chopping the cats, I'd never pass emissions next year if I chopped them so they're gonna have to stay.

Is your shop replacing it with a piece of straight pipe, swaged down at one end and expanded at the other? Let us know how much louder it gets.

As it turns out we couldn't get our hands on the stainless pipe to do it the right way, and we weren't about to weld stainless to mild steel.
