Thanks Muddy Dawg 75 as I usually try to humble myself but today I thought I would sort of be more direct.Import killer is also right that the Rubi and solid front axle is huge with disconnects. Probably one of if not the biggest reasons the Rubi overall is better off road. And obviously Import Killer had or knows someone with a bad experience with the FJ.Didnt know much about the FJ until a neighbor came by who always had something ( smart butted) to say about my Land Rover and when he bought his FJ said I guess I can go out and show the Land Rover up since I got the FJ. I think maybe for the rest of Sunday he may have made one of the obstacles in his way. I do know he seen the front and rear recover points of my LR an aweful lot. Again he assumed he can hita button he would go through and over anything! As said from some of the members and myself, theres way more toit than hitting a button.Im on my soap box now soI was at the MAR(largest Land Rover eventin the USA?) and some young cocky fellow in a D90 that had everything you could imagine got stuck where everyone told him not to go. A fellow in a beat up little Series III came in pulled him out and then drove back in the way the D90 came in. Humbled Biff real quick.

 

Just for the record I also wheeled with a FJ and it did great so I wasnt bashing any FJ at all. Just making a point against arrogance or stupidity and that there is just too much to the equation to say this is the best or this isnt.

 

We have beat this topic to death in the past with a rubber hose and it still won't go away. You CAN'T compare a Rubicon to an H3. Doing so is like comparing a Ford Focus to a Cadilliac. The two vehicles are not even in the same zip code as far as off road rigs go. Now the FJ and the H3, that's a different story. I have the same feelings there as ricedik, I mean Impy :-) I'd rather push my H3 than drive a YoyTota and that includes slapping on a set of TOYO tires! Be American, buy American, be proud of being an American....Do you hear me Osama Obama? I'm sorry did I say that?
