Cooper STTs, great tires with on road manners and excellent off road performance.

Thanks Doc! That is what I was needing to see. And they are actually about $40 cheaper each than the Nittos too.

I put 285 Rover MT Maxx Traction on mine. I've had them on for over 10k miles and alot of off road time and I have nothing bad to say about them.

I ran bfg all terrains before on my 315 75 r16's on my h3 and still have them on my f250 and liked them but now im running Hankook dynapro ATM 315 75 r16's and love them. no road noise and just a all around mean looking tire and alot better traction. I have around 5000 miles on them now.

From what I've been reading the Goodyear Duratracs seem to be a spectacular all around tire. I like the fact that they're severe snow rated and not even a winter tire. I'll prob be getting those in the 315/75/16 when it comes time to replace. I've noticed the factory Bridgestones are absolutely horrible on any kind of ice, the ABS has it's work cut out for it...you just keep sliding, and sliding, and sliding....

I ran MT/MTZ and liked them a lot. I bought some used rims that came with the Cooper STT made on the same carcass. They are more aggressive and a bit louder.
They are sipped and do well on wet pavement, snow and mud. The tread patch has full contact on the pavement and enough area of rubber to help prevent skids like some open lug tires that are not sipped.
AND they are made down the road in Texarkana, USA.
