How noisy are the Duras? I want a more aggressive tire than stock, but the road noise will just bother the wife... need to find a nice ballance.

BTW, why are the Duras listed as commercial? Anyone know?

They are not noisy at all. You can hear them if you listen for them, but they aren't overbearing.

I've got the Nitto Terra Grapplers and I like them. My experience with them is limited since they were on the truck when I got it but no problems so far. I've only done some minor desert runs in AZ but them did really well in the sand. No issues at all on the street even in the heavy rain we have been having lately. I'll definitely consider them again when the time comes.

Nittos................... seriously, foreign tires? Sake with sushi anyone?

Ever hear of Cooper, Mickey Thompson.... Made in the USA by an American company, by American workers? Never ceases to amaze me, you all see what the end game of buying foreign and shipping jobs out of here to save 3 penney's so some super rich greedy CEO types can hoard cash at the expense of regualr people, and yet, people still buy that crap because???? Oooohh I can save 3 penneys and I don't care.

Just sayin is all.

Good job with the BFGs, even though they too are from a foreign company.

I thought about Coopers too but didn't see any aggressive tread tires on their site. I've got probably another 10k before I need tires but I would welcome recommendations.
