I heard about a problem for the 305/75 r16 or 315/75 r 16... The inside front of the tires rubon the tubular metal bar when you turn the wheel all the way right or left....

What about the 295/75 r16?

It depends on the tire. Not ALL 305 or 315 tires rub. Some 285 tires rub, most do not.
So 295's are a toss up.

Do you have a specific 295 in mind ?
There are far less choices in that size. 285, 305 & 315 are much more common.

I wouldn't worry about the rubbing. It's very minor and only happens at full lock.

I would revisit your tire selection. The BFG ATs are a great tire, several people over the years have run the GEOs and have been happy with them as well. The Baja Claw is a directional mud tire that has a very short tread life, Mickey Thompson also makes a AT, the Baja ATZ...
And lastly if you want a wider more aggressive looking stance a 305/70r16 would be the same diameter as the 285s just slightly wider...

The problem here in Italy is that I can not use any tires size. I have a paper and right now I can only use the 265 but I asked to add one more size... so I was thinking to 285/75R16.

Like DAGKANA says, the BFG TA KO's & The Yokohama GEO ATS would be an OK choice.
Mickey Thompson ATZ would be a better choice.
Also look into Goodyear Duratrac. I have Duratracs on my truck for over a year now. Tread life & performance in rain, mud & snow. has been great.
