Third Brake Light replacement?

Third Brake Light replacement?
I just found out today during my inspection that the 3rd brake light LEDs are dead. Does anyone have any experience replacing them or where to go to get the parts for replacing them? I found a few parts stores online, but figured I would ask here for advice. The mechanic that did the inspection wanted $220- to replace!
