I recently purchased an overlay for the third brake light for my 07 H3. Does anyone know how to access the third brake light? From what it looked like, I'm either going to have to pull the whole plastic molding off of the rear door or get some seriously skinnier fingers. Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

Be careful, pull straight out on the upper portion of the rear door glass surround? About all the hlep I can offer, and it ain't much. We need some pics, HummerMike might have seen this before at work???

thanks for the info and for the links to the other posts. i'm glad i waited before i went out and just tried to start prying on it. does anyone know what the special tool is called that u need to remove the panel or where u might find one?

 

i was looking at some overlays as well,maybe when i get around to it i will take some pics

 

I put one on mine, was lucky enough not to break anything. I just pulled out on it enough to get in behind it and was lucky enough to get it right the first try.
