I got my liftgate struts today in the mail from Lift Supports Depot. I can tell the quality is far superior to Strong Arm because the ends are metal and not plastic. I also noticed when I removed the Strong Arm ones they were already getting rust everywhere, have only had them a few months. Going from 160 pounds to 180 seems to be what I needed because it is staying up effortlessly now in freezing weather with dual ladders. Lift Supports Depot ST263M1-180.

Your new struts work with is awesome, that sticker on them look the exact size of the "GOBI" ones I have. Also, the temperature does not seem to affect them. At the absolute worse the temps here will drop into the 20s but I've never had an issue.
