I would definately add the 2 lights, it completes the look. Thanks for the "how to". I like how you used the masking tape to help with your measurements. Couple questions. Where did you get your lights? Do you put the silcone in the holes and then screw in the lights so that the silcone dries with the screws screwed in?

Thanks

I will be installing the other 2 lights this weekend, the lights, I got them at a local auto parts store, and yes put silicone in the hole and also on the screws.[/align]

Very nice report. As a result I just ordered a set of 5 Pacer brand Chevy cab marker lamps off ebay, $50.00 delivered. I've always wanted the marker lamps but wasn't real impressed with the "rig" that GM came up with. Seems logical to mount each lamp directly on the roof as they do on every other rig.

The headliner was the biggest worry for me but that doesn't look too difficult at all and I don't have a sunroof to deal with either.

Only lingering question is where's the best place to wire them into the running lights? I want them on when my lights are on, I don't want another switch just for the cab lights.

Mid way on this page I've got a few pics of the wiring:

Nice writup.

One other tip when working in that area is to remove the mirror.. Just losen the screw a bit and slide it up and off the mount.

Mark, you've seen my CB mount. If you need help with your install, let me know, I wouldn't have any problem tearing in to you YOUR turck.
