I average about 15mpg on a stock tires with roof rack, brush guard, winch, and I have it leveled out. that is an overall average. I usually get 18 on the highway. I think I need to do a tune up on it too

I'm running the same, minus the winch, and get about 15 highway/city and just about 17 highway. This is without pushing it too hard. Kinda disappointed with this milage.

Driving Style, Tires, Filters, Fluids. go through that and I'm sure you will pick up some extra mpgs.

I did 14.43 mpg hand calculated this last tank. 280 miles and 19.4 gallons. No highway miles at all and this includes a few morning warm ups, traffic at the border crossing, and a lot of subdivision driving. Not bad considering my Crown Victoria gets 18 mpg in the same situation.

Only mods are intake tube and 305/70 tires.

It's probably better than that also because these taller tires log less miles on the odometer by a little. What percentage I don't know. My Gps says the speeoo is maybe .5-1 mph off. If it says I'm going 45, in reality I'm going 45.5 or 46 mph roughly

Hmmm...driving around DC I'm lucky if I get 14 mpg. I did drive cross country last summer and got 17, but it was loaded with 500 lbs of stuff. I did see a little drop going from 265 to 295 tires.

Based on what I'm seeing these guys are getting with their I5's, and the 12.5 mpg ave. I'm getting with my '08 Alpha, ( K&N, Magnaflow, AirDoc),I'm thinking your math may be off.

Sadly, that is just not the case or true from pump to pump
My friend worked for Chevron and those auto shut offs, proved to be universally inaccurate
There were tests done in CA and you could get as much as one and a half gallons more of gas
if you didn't trust the auto shut off and filled it to the top of the filler
It only takes a little more time to hold the metal nozzle out of the filler tube and fill it to the top. If you drive consistently, this will give anyone the actual mileage picture
