I posted this in the H3 forum at first, but I should have posted it here. Sorry! Here is my story - I am going to be starting to be making my own oil changes on my 2004 Dodge Intrepid and want to also on my 2007 Hummer H3. I bought a set of the 12,000 GVW pound Rhino Ramps. I bought the heavier ones thinking I could use it for the H3 as well. The tire limit for the ramps is 9.5 inches wide. Am i pushing my luck using them on the H3's Goodyear Wranglers?

What do you need a ramp for, H3s are pleanty high enough off the ground to drop the skids and change the oil without any lift?

Anyway, the tread width of the Wranglers isless than 9.5, I would think you would be fine.

 

I am new to oil changes and wanted to make sure I had enough room. I also thought the extra height would make it easier.
