I am well aware of this school of thought that goes like this:
Plonk 50-70K;
buy a brand new 4wd;
Take it bush and get it scratched.

…and I respect that view; each to their own.

At the same time there are others who would prefer to go off-road without cosmetic damage.
I personally love taking my H3 bush; but would prefer not to get it scratched…

…and that doesn’t make any of us any lesser as off-roaders.

So if someone out there knows of or has used some good protective solution please share it with us.

Trust me...there is some serious reluctance among owners of new 4wd to take them off-road... and this is one of the key factors. If there is a good solution, in terms of protection, that would certainly entice this group to step off-road.

And this would also be a good business/market for an entrepreneur to explore.
Probably 90% of the 4wd vehicles do not step off road.
Even if 1% of that crowd starts using this “protection”

…you do the math
