2006 H3 Power door lock problem varient a little different than most posted problems. Driver power lock (and driver window) work fine. All other door locks (passenger doors & tailgate) are not working. Do not respond to door lock switches or remote fob, or when putting into gear. #8 fuse is ok. Must be something common to the three passenger doors & tailgate. No other electrical issues. Any ideas?

 

driver unlock relay is separate from other doors. could be other unlock rel or logic. dont know where the stuff is!. maybe in driver door?

im looking in a svc manual i downloaded for $15...everyone should get it.
just look for h3 manual. i cant find link

ltr,,,it looks like the entire door control module is in the driver door,under the buttons.
thats the module that causes all the various problems.
it has 3 relays so first guess is ,swap them to see what happens

It wasn't terribly obvious to me exactly how to remove the driver door switch panel to get at the door control module. Well, I thought I would try a little "percussive maintenance" and I gave the side of the arm rest a couple of bumps with the palm of my hand.

It seemed to like that and all locks are working properly! Guessing a relay socket connection. THANKS MUCH!

P.S. -My Hummer dealer (now a Cadillac dealer) wanted my H3 for two days and I'm betting $$$$$!!
