I have been to the track all but 1 time this year. I should shatter my old times by about 1 second when I go in a few weeks. I have done all the top end but I'm just having fun with that for the rest of this year. Since this season came and is quickly passing by I think I'm done spending money on the stupid stuff and its time to start saving for a new block to handle the turbo I want to get. Single turbo with lots of boost should be good for low 10's though with big power comes alot of broken stuff. This way I will have fun dropping my turd into that toilet of yours

FFW is coming in 3 weeks so I want to go a few times before then and get some realistic times before they prep the track like no other. Last year at events I would trap 3 mph higher and have 3 tenths better average than a street night even with a similar 60'. Have you been to any FFW events this year? I'm assuming not because you don't seem like a Ford guy but just checking to see if its any better than last year because last year sucked. Vendors and everything else didn't have quite the turnout.

 

i dont live near any tracks anymore, and the only ford product that we have is the motor home now...

so youre saying that your GT is going to be in the low 11s now? you must be running a ton of juice, because code3gt only ran in the low 12s, NA...and he had/has a fully built motor, and something like 25,000 worth of work into his car to run the times that he does now...

and as far as who is which member of the force family, ive been in the top 5 in national point series several times, as well as been listed in national dragster and mopar muscle for class wins..its not that im "not much of a ford guy"...im just not big on people who talk **** for no reason.

 

I think Mark said that he should break his old time by one second NOW and if he gets a new block and the turbo setup he wants, then he should be in the 10's.

 

either way, i would be impressed by a street driven new edge in the 10s.

 

yeah it should be fun right now im trying to change the body up a little bit. but these are the future mods that will be done over winter hopefully. yeah code runs what he runs with alot of money in his car but i haven't seen what he runs on the juice i believe in the 10's. someone called him out on the forums and i think he said he should be well into the 10's. i'm in the 11's now which is a second faster ehh about alf a second faster when i go to the track since last time.

 

what do you think is better the red car or the dark shadow gray car?

ok did the pics not load? i don't see anything on my screen and i was going to see what you guys liked better because I have been trying to chose what I want my car to look like.

for those who now in their minds what these things look like

4' cowl and 03 cobra bumper or saleen bumper. im leaning towards the saleen bumper and cowl hood.

I would go complete aftermarket hood and bumper...if your gonna spend the cash to change it up, why make it look like a factory equiped car? Just my opinion...I would want a completely different look from anyhting that came from the factory.

 

its your car mark,do what you want..but since you asked, im not a fan of non-saleen or roush models with saleen or roush panels.
