Patrick...WTF

Mike .. banning Dennis I don't think will resolve anything .. if nothing else it will generate more hard feelings towards us and that resolves nothing in the grand scheme ofthings. In the interest of peace lets just all move on, though I realize it can be difficult. I almost posted a public reply last night when I first saw it but opted against it since it's contradictory to the resolution of this. And while we were all banned as a result of him, let's just try to be the bigger guys here and not do onto him what he did onto us ... it only reflects badly on us, guys. These are just my thoughts on the matter of course ... to each his or her own ...:-)

Nick just sent me a screen shot. WTF is he thinking? Mike is right. How are we supposed to move past this with him doing this ****? He won't respond or work things out with us, but he'll post something like that, and for what, to try to be funny? To SMOOOTH things out? The damage is done and he needs to go. End of story.
You know I'm a very passive person but now I'M even getting pissed off, and rarely happens.
Don't worry though Patrick, I still love you and wont' tell anybody about our night in MOAB.................................

I had to explain this to my wife as well, that you are paid to do this. She got a little jeolous and said "Why don't you get a job like that, then we can spend all our time together" and I said "because dealing with attorneys is one thing, but dealing with adults who act like children is another" Granted, being in your position would be nice, but dealing witht he BS that you get is not very appealing
You have to admit, we probably aren't as high maintenance as other sites.
Are there any video game sites in your little collection

i have acquired a few sony gaming related site names, and i intend to open a forum, but i havent had time lately.
you are a microsoft gamer, right?
and for what its worth, i technically dont get paid to do this...im a volunteer. i havent had a taxable dollar made since i quit my accounting job 3 years ago, and most of our sites lose money.
Maybe we should start passing the virtual cup around for you
I'm a gamer in general, more Microsoft then PS3, simply because the Playstation 3 is dying a slow death due to price, lack of hardware and software sales, and developers cancelling and porting their once exclusive titles to the 360. I have a friend who is EA's top game designer, and he even said the PS3 is loosing the battle and doesn't see it surviving the market for more then a year or two more. That's because of Sony's arrogance with BluRay and thinking people are going to spend $500 to $600 on a video game system just so they can watch 1rst genertation BluRay discs that aren't all that better then buying an Upconversion 1080i/p DVD player. I have that via HDMI and the HD-DVD player for the 360, but the studios are lazy and aren't remastering movies in 1080i/p, but taking the original DVD master and just upconverting it to 1080i instead of remastering it from scratch.
I can go on and on about this, but the facts are PS3 sales are lower then even the PS2 and any other system, nobody is buying it, and the head engineer that designed it has been fired from Sony. It only goes to show you they will loose this war the same as the BetaMax war. It's unfortunate but true.

true, but they have cut prices, which they have no choice but to do...i dont doubt that sony will do what they have to in order to stay afloat...
the way that i see it, comparing the PS3 to the 360 is like comparing an H1 to an old modded dodge ramcharger...the ramcharger might be able to do the same thing thanks to the mods, and its cheaper, but in the end, the H1 is the better choice...
i wont buy a 360 until microsoft gets their failure rate way down...i just dont want to deal with paying that price for a gaming system that has a 30% failure rate...its like buying a ford.

Good points Patrick but I'd still go for the 360 over the PS/3 :-) Even with the failure rate. I've had my 360 since March last year, no issues. With this said, a friend of mine did end up with the ring o' death a whileback. He had no problems getting it taken care of through Microsoft which actually surprised me some considering the backlog. I know if mine goes south and croaks on me I'll probably just buy a new one while the other one is shipped out. If nothing else to use for those 8-way Farcry battles hehehehe :-)
while i have had all of the sony systems, including PSP, i dont consider myself a sony fanboy...i have an original xbox, and when it worked, i really enjoyed the games that i have.i am mostly into driving games...i have something like 40 or so driving games for PS2, and several for PS3. i bought the original xbox pretty much only for forza and project gotham... PGR isnt great, but forza IS. unfortunately, after a while, my xbox wouldnt read discs. no big deal, i have a warranty right? wrong.
only certain xbox games work with their memory card system, so when i returned my broke *** xbox for a new one, i lost my save game data...this pissed me off PRETTY good...so i worked my way back to where i was on the few games thati have, and then it started acting up again...i gave up, and just bought more sony driving games. i know that the 360 has a removable HD so you wont lose your data, but ive not had a problem with any of my sony consoles, and both my ps2 and amandas ps2 were bought VERY early in the life of the PS2, and last i checked, they both still worked. i have one hooked up on one TV with the dreamcast, and on the HDTV, i have the PS3...

Let's get something striaght right now, from one fellow car racing gamer to another......
I never said the PS3 was crap. It's technically superior to the 360 in every way, but I wish it was cheaper and had more of a market share so it can succeed. Unfortunately, it hasn't.
Did you see 2007 NHRA just came out for PS2? It's only $20 and has ALL the NHRA racers in the game, TOP Fuel, Funny Car, Stock Pro, and even the cycles are in there!
The sweetest thing is that the cover has John Force racing Ron Capps. I'm probably going to pick it up tonight
