I'm at a loss here, what did I do? If that was in reference to Dennis' remark in that thread (now deleted) I replied to him in private and basically said I have no interest in having any further dealings with him and asked to be left alone.
If it was in regards to the pics posted in that thread, yes, I asked the responsible party to utilize the sights and sounds section in the future.

Did I do something wrong here Impy?? I'm truly ata loss ...

no..you didnt do anything wrong at all...you didnt reply to him in public, which is exactly what we need to do. he wrote me and apologized right after he posted it...

mike, honestly, this job is much much worse than being an accountant.

much worse.

however, this job does afford me certain luxuries. i spend every waking moment with my wife...which would drive some couples crazy, but the way that we see it, we spent 25 years without each other, and now we are making up for it..cheesey, yes, but its the way that we see it.

if i get sick, i dont have to worry about going to work and suffering through a long work day, i can do whatever work HAS to be done, and go back to bed...and i have a wireless laptop, so i can work from bed.

i get to watch TV all day...i have missed a "the price is right" episode in 3 years.

i get to spend all day talking about cars, which is a passion of mine, and hers.

my commute requires no gaoline, and is about 14 feet, and thats if im working from the office, not from the bed.

the downfalls?

i am basically an online babysitter. its not so bad here honestly, but some sites are REALLY bad.

i have to be careful to try to hide as much about my personal info as possible, because we do get death threats.

i am "at work" pretty much 24-7. if something goes wrong in the middle of the night, someone AIMs me, and i have to get up and deal with it. a few weeks ago, another site "attacked" one of my sites around 11pm, and we were fighting and banning the troll problem until 4 the next morning.

and the biggest problem in my eyes is that im always the ******* to someone. unlike some forum mods (especially one who doesnt own a vehicle that applies to the site) i try to be active and such, but as "the authority figure", i am often given a bad rep, just for doing my job. however, most people dont view my job as being "a real job", so they assume that im just being an ******* for the sake of being an *******.

Nick just sent me a screen shot. WTF is he thinking? Mike is right. How are we supposed to move past this with him doing this ****? He won't respond or work things out with us, but he'll post something like that, and for what, to try to be funny? To SMOOOTH things out? The damage is done and he needs to go. End of story.

You know I'm a very passive person but now I'M even getting pissed off, and rarely happens.

Don't worry though Patrick, I still love you and wont' tell anybody about our night in MOAB.................................
Mike .. banning Dennis I don't think will resolve anything .. if nothing else it will generate more hard feelings towards us and that resolves nothing in the grand scheme ofthings. In the interest of peace lets just all move on, though I realize it can be difficult. I almost posted a public reply last night when I first saw it but opted against it since it's contradictory to the resolution of this. And while we were all banned as a result of him, let's just try to be the bigger guys here and not do onto him what he did onto us ... it only reflects badly on us, guys. These are just my thoughts on the matter of course ... to each his or her own ...:-)

I would *KILL* to have that option Patrick, in fact I think I'm working myself in to an early grave trying to achieve it LOL! And whether it's cheesy to want to spend time with your spouse or not, hell, I don't think it is. Other than that our jobs are not all that different hehehe. I get to spend my days babysitting people too, mainly my coworkers and my boss to make sure they don't "help" me and screw things up like my boss did earlier this week (full network meltdown, thanks doode). The hours are the same too 24/7/365 ...

Yep, after I read the WHOLE thread I got a clue of what was said, that was my bad ...lol ... again .. little soggy upstairs today lol!

Yep, I actually did too ... in public ... in that thread ... but I realized it was the worst thing to do so I never actually hit the Ok button to make it go.

I had to explain this to my wife as well, that you are paid to do this. She got a little jeolous and said "Why don't you get a job like that, then we can spend all our time together" and I said "because dealing with attorneys is one thing, but dealing with adults who act like children is another" Granted, being in your position would be nice, but dealing witht he BS that you get is not very appealing

You have to admit, we probably aren't as high maintenance as other sites.

Are there any video game sites in your little collection
