Anyone have a source for where to find a padded center armrest for 2003 H2? I like the fold down armrests but would like the center one to be padded like some of the newer models. Will the ones from the newer models fit an 03? Looks like the ones on 08-09's probably wont work. Thanks..

 

The 08-09 center armrests will not fit the 03-07 trucks. Keep checking eBay and craigslist or a junk yard. You can always go to interior car guy and have them put padding on it and wrap it with material. I actually like the one in my 03 because I can place things on it like my phone without it falling off. I did however wrap it in black leather.

 

The padded one up to 2007 are the same as yours only padded and wrapped. Like MCIOCI said and competent upholstery shop should be able to do yours.

 

Yeah.. Thanks for the suggestions, I too like the tray for holding things that I'd probably put in the cupholders, phone, wallet etc.. its just that using the fold down ones seems to make difficult to fasten and unfasten the seatbelt and is a bit close to my fat side to place my arm on it comfortably. But I'll look into having it padded and covered, finding one used is nearly impossible.
