So i got my truck with a jvc unit and the onstar module was shut off and i would like to find out if all the newer units till 07 need anything extra to install in my truck ???

 

I installed a factory Nav and XM in my 2003 . I bought a used Nav unit, a new XM module and a GM GPS antenna.

 

Is there alot of work involve or can you use some of the factory wires that are already in the truck ??? I was thinking the factory short antena in my roof could be used but i guess i need a new one . And the same goes for my onstar module i need to get a newer one , i had a good deal with the H3 and onstar but i guess this 04 h2 had an older unit so i need a new one ...
