I think you should put your ideas together before spending any money on something like the audio
If you are trying to built a badass truck with limited budged (very hard to archive)
I would put the money on something else like wheels, suspension, maybe a lift kit ,
at the end you have an audio system which os a C plus

when I got mine hummer I did mods step by step but never Have an idea in mind how I want the final results . So now I realized I spent money in some parts I would like to change

 

H2 Miami, I understand what you are stating, but right now I am focusing on the stereo. It is a badass truck on a budget, but not all at once. I just dont want to spent gobs of money on something that can get away with spending less on to get the same results. Like I read about lift kits, and everyone is saying get this one or that one and spend 2-4000 bucks but yet I also read one or two people getting the same result with spacers and such for 200 bucks. So, it isnt about spending the money as spending it wisely for the same results. Yes I understand that a spacer setup wont go offroad like a full lift kit, but it does the job I want... and in this case all I want is better sound than what I have stock. I am not an audiophile and not looking for something outrageous.... just better than stock. And better than stock in regards to options.
i know everyone wants to build a car to A to A+ builds... but considering that this is a used truck and it isnt perfect and it isnt a high end show build.... i just cant see spending gobs of money on something that I will never use. (like i said, a full off road lift kit that will never be used for anything other than looks... why buy something that in the end will perform the same as the big names, in the area that it was intended which was just driving around listenng to music)

but then again, i also dont want to go through this twice too
