Hi guys and gals, I’m new to the hummer forum and new to being a hummer owner. I just purchased a 1997 wagon with the 6.5 turbo diesel. I’m looking for options to swap it with a Cummins or duramax and Allison tranny. Does anyone have any info on this or experience with their own? I’m concerned with having never ending issues if I do swap. I want something reliable. Any feedback or companies that do this I would appreciate the feed back. If there is another thread with this info please point me to it.
