MPG roll call for H3s
I'm averaging 17-18 mpg's on my stock H3X. Not sure about in the city but i can definately tell i use alot in the city, espeially in stop and go traffic jams. It's like i'm watching the gas gauge go down.
I'm using around 15-17 gal at ranges from 290 to 322. Someone asked. We do have the Adv. Pkg with OS tires. Does that make a difference? I do also notice that a heavy foot really shows up hardcore in the mpg dept. Almost 59K on it. Considering a switch to Amsoil. Any comments? I'll also do a search for synths here. If I switch I'll post the difference, but as the temps drop here in MI I expect a bit of mpg to drop as well. The Jeep does the same thing, drops about 1 or 2 mpg depending on how cold it gets.
Just topped off again and only getting 13.8 in town. I really don't know how you all are getting any better. I am really light footed and trying to see what I can actually get out of it. The best I ever got was 15 driving it home from the dealer in Tucson back to Phoenix.

Vader I'm with you.
OK - If I drive from Flagstaff to Phoenix, I will get 20+ MPG. Because I am going from 8000 ft elevation down to 1200 ft elevation. So at that point I could say I get 20 MPG. But then again so would my Suburban on that same route. Because it's all down hill.

Good idea!!!!!!ifi put my hummer in N while coming down the many giant hills around here and shut the engine down...it'd be like getting infinite mpg???!!!
