When i've checked, i avg. about 16.5 mpg all around. Which is wonderful for me...hold it to the floor in between red lights, 70+ on the hwy.

Lots of opinions on this. Some go as high as 40 psi, most people here seem to be in the mid-30s. I've been running about 34 but I haven't tried different levels other than 30 and 34. Haven't noticed any difference in ride, mpg, etc. [/align]
I'g gonna run mine at 35psi. 30psi seems to low. But thenagain, they are the engineers that chose 30psi.

So, what is everyone else running?

I get a good 14.5 now that I've had the PCM remapped. Before I was only getting 12. That's with 27,000 miles, and knock on wood, no head problems.

06 Adventure - 13.7 mpg, 20,794 miles, 95 fillups, & 1,523.3 gals.

Majority of miles in town, stop & go. Highest mpg was 20.1 (highway).

Also, out of pocket maintenance expense - $988. All dealership services using Castrol Syntec 5W-30.

At almost exactly 6000 miles my mileage went from an average 17.78 to 19.86!! No change in driving conditions or habits.

I too have gotten a tad over 20 MPG on occasion. Big thing was a light load, staying at 70 or under, all interstate near sea level. I got 361 miles and had a 1/4 tank left when I stopped, topped it off with 18 gallons to the brim. That was with non adventure tires. I've got Super Swamper 34s on it now and I can tell a BIG difference in mileage, but hey, it looks GREAT! Seriously, I bought SS tires and rims for my offroading. I kept my stock tires and wheels. If I need to make a long trip I can stick my factory tires back on in no time. I just hate to pull off those mean looking Swampers and ProComps now that I'm used to seeing it that way.

My wife drives about 6 miles to work and the same 6 coming home. She makes this trip twice a day and is averaging between 15-15.5 MPG.
