MPG roll call for H3s
15-16 MPG. I drive it pretty hard and commute in the city (I live by LAX . . . you can do the math). I took it easy one trip an got 20MPG.
I have 2006 3.5L, 5-speed manual and Gibson cat-back exhaust. Aprox. 23000 miles.

So far I'm averaging 18+. My wife and I both drive about 80% freeway at around 75mph. I use the cruise control often. Niether of us is heavy footed...it doesn't seem to make a difference anyway. At this point I can't complain. Same as the 02 V8Grand Cherokee we have but way higher on the "style points".

Now where near the 20 MPG advertised. I'm only averaging around 15MPG. I have 4k miles on a 2007 3.7l and I do about 50/50 Hwy/City. Driving hard or easy, doesn't seem to make a difference. I got about 15-16 with my 6 cyl 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 but drove it mostly in 2x4 mode, and it had 29" tires.
Lots of opinions on this. Some go as high as 40 psi, most people here seem to be in the mid-30s. I've been running about 34 but I haven't tried different levels other than 30 and 34. Haven't noticed any difference in ride, mpg, etc. [/align]
20 MPG + on the highway
I never drive over 65 mph
and I upshift very quickly.
I mainly use this vehicle for off road, where mileage is less.
I can tell you guys, drivin' 75 mph is your biggest culprit to bad mileage
