Ok here we go I pick up my H3 today and just love it. One thing I would like to do first in install the locking Billet gas door. Has anybody installed one of these and which one is the best to buy.

I have only installed the one on my rig, I can't really speak as to the others, some require drilling into the plastic trim ring (mine did) some do not, and some require drilling into the body. Personally I want to get one that does hard mount to the body, I almost ripped mine off wheelin when I got it, close call with a tree that jumped out at me

 

I installed the one from RealWheels in about 10 minutes in a campground. Looks great and works well. Only comes with 2 keys. I have tried to have a duplicate made but cannot find someone with a blank to do it. Love it though.

 

They look great, but the Hummer dealer in my area quit stocking them due to corrosion build up in the lock mech. due to our 5 month winters. customers couldnt get them open in the winter when it was time for gas. I would go with a basic locking gas cap and then the Hummer cover without the lock.
