Anyone put one on and if so have you notice a differance it the performance of the truck like rough ideling

Mark if it is possible..put back on the old cap and see if the idle improves again...Maybe this fuel system reqires it to pressurize and the new cap is not making a good seal...Or it could be just a bad batch of gas..[&:]

 

That what i was thinking i was doing that driving for a few mile put the old one back on i think that what i'am giong to have to do
the locking one has the same gasket but on the factory if you look in the middle of the inside cap it has a sping i think it to let the presure out. I felt safe haveing a locking one but if someone does somthing oh well
you know how people do not like hummers (the truck) just like people dont like peolpe wearing fur coats they pur paint on them

FACTORY ONE BACK ON

 

Gas caps today keep the system pressurized so as not to pollute the air. i bought a locking cap a NAPA for about $20 but did not put it on yet as my H3 comes in this week. If my cap does not work I will only use it when I park in the woods.
