Jiffy Lube screwed up my truck, what to do?
#23
Sorry have not replied back I'm in the middle of moving plus getting my truck fixed takes a lot out of a person, and I don't have a computer. I want let everyone know jiffylube is paying for any damages they caused to the truck, I see someone from jiffylube wants me to give them my info about this, HELL NO. My truck is finished the dealer is waiting for the check, they think they will get it today so I can pick it up. By the way some said I'm a she! Wrong, I'm a guy my name is paul.

I'm glad they took care of all the expenses....It would be a fail if they took it to another jiffy lube tho. lol....

So the magic questions now become:
What exactly was damaged?
What had to be done to fix it?
Will the fix only be a patch only to have more problems later once Jiffy Lube is long gone?
And last but certainly not least:
How much did it cost to fix it?

Update on my truck is at the dealer is still, waiting on the check from jiffylube, Someone asked what was wrong with the truck, it was nothing internal in the engine, but trans fluid got inside the converters and messed them up so they had to replace both of them, they did a compression test on some of the cylinders and said they had good compression, 175 psi to be exact. The dealer said I had really good compression, especially since I have over 147000 miles on the truck. It cost around 2200.00 to fix, I think that's crazy but at least I don't have to pay for it.
