Hi all. Just discovered this forum. I am in the process of buying a really under-used H2 SUT off a family member and thought I would join to see what all is out there in the hummer world. Historically I have driven a mix of cars and SUVs. Just about to get a settlement from VW for a couple diesels we owned and since the opportunity presented to get a H2 with only 60k miles, I figured I would grab it up! Cheers!

 

Just picked her up! Red 2007 H2 SUT Limited Edition. 62k original miles that just got out of the shop with new transmission lines and fixed a ticking issue I noticed a few months back when I test drove it. I don't recall what exactly the reason for it was, only that it wasn't a cheap fix. Either way, payed 12 for it and drove it home to Michigan from my family members home in NY. Drove like a dream and the only thing I noticed was a rattle on the wind screen at the front of the roof. Looks like it just needs to be re-sealed. This is my first hummer, so totally stoked!! Here's some pics. Definitely needs a bath once the weather turns around.
