Hi everyone, I have been lurking around on this forum for about a year now, and finally decided to join. I have a 2006 H3 qith the off road package (Adventure right?).

I go to school in Eugene, OR and enjoy a lot of activities outdoors (MT biking, Army ROTC, skiing etc...). I have decided that the H3 needs a few mods. I would like to start by putting a brush guard with lights and a winch on it. After I finish that I would also like to add to my roof rack with a set of lights.

So my question to everyone is: Where is the best place I can find a black brush guard and a set off PIAA, KC or HELLA style lights? I called around and hunted on the internet but the market isn't huge for these. I found a few sellers on ebay with the stock look alikes at a great price.

Has anyone heard any info on these quality-wise? And lastly, what happened to the HOPE association? I am also EMT certified and looking for a group along those lines.

Aries makes one that's pretty reasonable. Do a google search.

 

What method are you guys using to paint or coat your factory rims black? How does it hold up to the elements and wheeling?
