That would make the most sense, and be the most cost effective.
I concur, that makes perfect sense

I got my letter today as well. Parts are not available as of yet, but a female conector and harness will be replaced. mine already melted and i fixed myself once. The funny thing is my stereo started not working with cds... there are six in it and it wont do anything and tells me no cds are in it.

my cd did something like that when a cd got stiuck.
it happened when i got rear ended. i guess the disk got jolted and jammed the mechanism.
i actually dissassembled it and unstuck it,,,not an ez operation.
nothing would eject or do anything.???

Well it just went up to a 111 today and boy it takes a while for the A/C to cool of my 3 with only the lower blower speeds . But I did find that using my recall letter to fan myself helps a little .

LOL - we hit 122 the other day and fanning myself with the recall didn't seem to help.

Default H3 blower recall

At approx 1400 hrs today I took off and got to the corner and my blower quit. I did recieve a recall letter about a week ago about this issue. I aclled the 800 number and GM got in touch with my dealer and they set me up with an appointment for Friday with no questions asked.
Stand by for further updates.

Odd. I wonder if they got the new parts, then? Or if they are just going to fix it with the old parts and then fix it AGAIN with the new parts once the recall moves into it's "fix" stage?

I got the notice in the mail too. No parts available. This after i already changed the resistor, then had to go back and hack the connector so it would work. Great post

I'm sure that's exactly what they are doing.

If the new parts "fix" was available, it would be all over the various Hummer Forums and Facebook.
