Default HILL CLIMBING

I have a hill on my property I need to know how to determine if my H2 can safely climb it or not. I have to know because once down there is no other way back up. I want to go down there to cut up all the dead trees for firewood. What are the general criteria one uses to determine if an H2 can climb a particular hill? Thanks, Edgar

NEW UPDATE FRIDAY 12/5

Hi everyone and thanks for the replies. I will go out and measure the slope of the hill and provide additional data hopefully this weekend when I get a minute. And maybe try to post some photos too if I can figure out how. I just joined the forum and am learning how to use it.

Thanks and check back in a couple days for an update.

THANKS MUCH GUYS!

EDGAR

Well, you will be very impressed at what it can do. Is it steap or mud or sand, ect. If its mud, any 4x4 may have a slippery time. I love to play with mine as much as I can. dirt hills don't bother me at all. The truck is 4 tons of pissed off steal and plastic. It just grabs the ground and rips it a new one. Your H2 is prob. licking its chops for a chance to jump down there and serve its master. Whats the worst that can happen. a $50 buck towing bill would be worth having the fun getting it stuck. I'm sure we can all pitch in a few bucks as long as you post some pictures...

Hello Friend,
You may want to consider purchasing an "INCLINOMETER".
See photos.
As a rule of the thumb, your vehicle should not exceed a tilt angle of 30°.
I purchased mine through EBAY. Just type in the Ebay search engine "INCLINOMETER".
