Holy Hill Climb Batman!!!!
So I had a lunch meeting today at Fidelity Investments today with one of my consultants. On the way there I notice a construction entrance for a new development. It was a steep mud hill. At the bottom sat a Backhoe and a dozer. So after my meeting as I was headed back to the office I decided to see how good we could climb that hill. We have been getting alot of crappy winter weather in the Cincy area the past couple of days. Nobody was working probubly because a you could not walk up the hill ina good pair of boots. I started up the hill in AWD and got about half way up the sloppy hill. I had to keep turning the wheel and was not doing so well. So I stopped on the hill and started slidding backward down the hill as I was shifting to 4HI-Locked. Got back on the gas and got to the top with no problems. Then to get turned around safely I had to go up a 4-5 foot steep embankment. I dropped her into 4-LO and Locked up the rear end......................HOLY $$$hiaaattt I cannot believe how easy it was to climb that embankment. I never could have done this in my old durango. I came back down the hill and rode the gears down with total controll. Sorry If I am boring some of you guys but in my 3 months of ownership this is the first "Real" hill climb that I got to do and I am in AWE!!!!
and you weren't aired down.... just wait til you get the pucker factor from climing something that you can't climb in 4lo-lk until you only have 20psi in the tires...
I took pictures of a H1 go damn near up the side of a mountain... so steep that he couldn't turn around.. he had to back down.... and have pictures to prove it....
