I got the damnabit chrome pkg. Go figure. Other than that, it is a Black H3 Adventure, auto, trailering equipment, rear mat. I could not find an Adventure w/o the chrome appearance pkg, and also without the luxor other loadedset ups,in February. I've done a few things, low bling, more performance.

ebrown: that's what I'm talkin bout!!!!

Right... And I bet you never seen this a local mall either...
I'm not a fan of bling either but I used to have a Liberty and I always thought it might look good to see oneloweredand chop the roof. Turn it into a kustom.

No chrome on mine but I like ebrowns wheel setup. Low profile but still with a tread. I think its important to keep the roots to any customized ride.

I look at it slightly different that a few of you.... First of all... I can respect HummBob's ride... just because having built 2 high horsepower show cars... I know what it takes to make the shiny things shiny...

The only thing I don't like about the stylin' & proflin' group is that it directs the market to the fast buck... I can't find more than one manufacturer that makes a winch bumper, etc.... but I can find 66 sites where I can buy chrome bezels for something round in the cab...

It's a classic case of supply and demand.... the shiny stuff is everywhere.... the wheelin' stuff is pretty much non-existant.... or costs 4 times what it would cost if I was driving a Ford F-250

thanks Doc.... my work van is a First on Race Day.... 2007 E-250 SD (Leaky).... the old one was a 2000 E-250 retired at 229,408... (Shaky).....

I call the new one Leaky because it's been to FORD twice for an oil leak.... fixed finally after 2 new oil sending units and a new oil cooler..... but the main reason is that the AC blows so cold on it that it leaves a HUGE puddle under it..... The AC is by far the best I have ever had on any vehicle.... 42 degrees output on normal AC at 75 highway.... 60 degrees output after idling 6 hourson a 90 degree day....

I have a similar opinion to Muddydawg, in that I can appreciate the “function over form” crowd, as well as
the “show and shine” guys. A LOT of thought, effort and bucks go into building out these rigs and while
I might not particularly care for the direction an owner has taken his truck, I can sure applaud the fact
that he or she has taken the time to make the vehicle his own.

However, I will be poking fun, mercilessly if necessary, at EXTREME examples of either camp and would expect the same in return.

(HumBob is yet again, a prime example…He takes a lot of **** for his princess, but can dish it out as well….)

(One of the few S&S guys I’ve seen that can go over to Ebola and get a little respect)

As for personal style, I fall somewhere in the middle.
I either want my truck spotless and the shiny parts blinding low flying aircraft, or I want the damn thing looking like a total pig.
(you’ve all seen the pics and know what I mean)

To each his own………Just so it is a HUMMER.

All Bob has to remember is that he can clear the speed bumps.... and then point and laugh at the Honda guys.....
