Default 114000 on the engine ,AND tran,t case, drive train

if he had his foot in it for lots of those miles, the engine and all its friends got,,ahh , stressed.
so u decide how much u want to guess about how much.
im not an h2 guy but if it feels good driving,id bang it around, let it sit and idle hot,see if anything drips, usual hard look, take a critical friend. listen to him,not ure heart!

The miles would not bother me as much as condition of the truck and maintenance. You can run the vin through any gm dealer and they can tell you any maintenance that was done through dealerships. I know several H2's with over 200k on them and they are running strong. I would take it to a good mechanic and pay him to go over it. If he finds anything use that in price negotiations. Good luck with it.

Coming from a guy who already owns one of these beasts I'd just check the maintenance records, most mechanics will do a once over for anywheres from 20-50 bucks and if your worried about stress on the motor ask for a compression test to see where your at.

I have 92,000 on mine now and no engine troubles in sight. dyno'd at 508 h.p. when I bought it.

I would try to talk them down to 20k and definitely get a compression test done, it looks good

One other thing, I do notice that they took the spare out for the photos. the 04' had it mounted inside the vehicle like mine. I had to buy a spare tire carrier for the back in order to get it out of the vehicle. maybe get them to install one for you as they can be quite expensive and a pain in the *** to install the license plate relocation kit without tapping into the wiring harness.

Also looks like the roof racks are missing.

quote=beejaydee87]Thanks for you reply on my recent post regarding the supercharged H2. I will take your advice on bringing a mechanic with me when I see the vehicle on Friday. I'm going to try to talk the price down to 20k if possible.

Not that this matters now, but just curious... how much mpg are you getting on your supercharged H2 ?[/quote]

sorry for the long post but the forums will not allow me to send u a private message.

On long drives I get about 13. when I'm going crazy with my foot in it I get about 5. So I'm averaging 11.6 over the course of 90,000 miles.
I used to live in the mountains of colorado.
